Rachael E. DuBose was born and raised in the Evanston neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio by her paternal grandparents, who both taught her many of life’s most important lessons through their sacrifice and unconditional love. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006 from THE Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Dayton. Rachael’s passion for advocacy, education, healing from trauma, criminal justice, and fighting the stigma of mental illness, especially in historically excluded communities, shines through her community work as the owner of Be the Light.

Presentation Description:
This presentation aims to explore the intersection of trauma-informed care and holistic wellness. Attendees will gain a deep understanding of trauma's impact on mental, physical, and emotional health and learn how a holistic approach can foster healing and resilience. The presentation will also encompass trauma-informed practices, mindfulness techniques, and self-care strategies, empowering individuals to embark on a transformative journey towards holistic well-being.
