The Certified Mental Wellness Coach (CMWC) program is a 16-hour educational course designed to equip professionals with a foundational understanding of diet and lifestyle factors that influence mental wellness. It explores the Microbiome-Gut-Heart-Brain-Axis and its impact on mood, energy, focus, stress resilience, and sleep quality.

Session Outlines:

1. Overview of Mental Wellness – Understanding the foundations of psychological well-being.
2. Brain Stress & Neurotransmitters – The role of cortisol, neurotransmitters, and stress physiology.
3. Microbiome & Gut-Brain-Axis – Exploring the gut’s impact on serotonin, dopamine, and other neurochemicals.
4. Heart-Brain-Axis – Examining the influence of cardiovascular health on mood and cognition.
5. Immune System & Mental Wellness – The immune system as a communication organ in mental health.
6. Food & Mood – The role of functional nutrition in supporting mental fitness.
7. Movement & Physical Performance – The connection between exercise and emotional regulation.
8. Sleep Science – The biochemical effects of sleep deprivation and strategies for improvement.
9. Mindset & Emotional Regulation – The importance of social connection, gratitude, and mindfulness.
10. Dietary Supplements for Mental Wellness – Research-backed ingredients for stress management and cognitive function.
11. Aging & Cognitive Decline – How inflammation and nutrition affect long-term mental health.
